average of first hundred natural numbers = sum of first hundred natural numbers/100
let us find the sum by AP
a=1, L= 100, n=100
Sum= n(a+l)/2
=> 100 x 101/2
=> 5050
Average = 5050/100
=> 50.5
let us find the sum by AP
a=1, L= 100, n=100
Sum= n(a+l)/2
=> 100 x 101/2
=> 5050
Average = 5050/100
=> 50.5

first of all u know the formula of finding the sum of nth natural number..
this is ..... N(N+1) ÷2
So here given that 100 natural number
the value of n is 100 putting the value of n in the given formula
100(100+1) ÷2
100×101÷2
50×101
5050
and u know that the formula of average
=
sum of all terms÷
number of terms
5050÷100
= 50.50
--------
hope u easily understand.
