Let the smallest number be X
so, (X+X+2+X+4)/3 = X/3 +12
or, (3X +6)/3 = X/3 +12
or, X+2 = X/3 +12
or, X - X/3 = 10
so, X = 15
so, The largest number is X + 4 = 15+4 = 19
so, (X+X+2+X+4)/3 = X/3 +12
or, (3X +6)/3 = X/3 +12
or, X+2 = X/3 +12
or, X - X/3 = 10
so, X = 15
so, The largest number is X + 4 = 15+4 = 19
