& that of books be= y

According to the question, (average)

12x+ 12y/24=600-----------(1)

Then, given

y=2x ---------------(2)

Putting value of y from equation 2 in equation 1, we get

12x+12(2x)/24=600

12x+24x/24=600

36x/24=600

x=600×24/36

x=400

so, y=2x=2×400

=800

So, price of 1 toy car is = x = 400

price of 1 book = y= 800

Price of 3 toy car & 2 books,

3×x+2×y

=3×400+2×800

=1200+1600

=2800

So, the required answer is 2800...
