Average of 12 officers salary = 12 x 400 = 4800

4800 + 56x = ( 12 + x ) x 60

4800 + 56x = 720 + 60x

4x = 4080

X = 1020

∴ Total number of workers = 12 + x = 12 + 1020 = 1032
