let total no of male employee be x
total no of female be y
then total salary of all male = 5200*x
total salary of  all female =4200*y
but as per question total salary af all the employee = 5000(x+y)
so 5200*x+4200*y=5000(x+y)
by equating we will find x/y= 4/1
so parsentage of female employee= 1/5 *100=20%

Answer:

Given,

average salary of males = 5200

average salary of females = 4200

average salary of all employees = 5000

Explanation:

let the number of males = x

let the number of females = y

total number of employees = x+y

average salary of males = total salary of males / total number of males

5200 = total salary of males / x.

5200x = total salary of males

average salary of females = total salary of females / total number of females

4200 = total salary of females / y.

4200y = total salary of females

average salary of total employees = total salary of all employees/ total number of all employees

5000 = total salary of all employees / x+y

5000(x+y) = total salary of all employees

5000(x+y) = 5200x+4200y

5000x + 5000y = 5200x + 4200y

800y = 200x

y/x = 1/4

percentage of female employees= females ×100/total employees

 \frac{1}{5}  \times 100

20% = female employees
