Acc to the ques, the average salary of workers in an industry is Rs.200.

and the average salary of technicians is Rs.400 and that of non-technicians being rs.125.

Total salary (t1)/ total no of technicians(n1) = 400.

Total salary (t2)/ total no of non-technicians(n2) = 125.

or, (t1 + t2) / (n1 + n2) = 200.

or, ( 400 n1 + 125 n2 ) / (n1 + n2) = 200.

or, 400 n1 + 125 n2 = 200 n1 + 200 n2.

or, 200 n1 = 75 n2.

or, n1 = (3/8) n2.

i.e. 3:8

3 = twice (200 - 125) = 150.

11 = ?

1 = 150/3 = 50.

or, 11 = 11 x 50 = 550. [Ans]

Therefore total no of workers = 550.

The average income of workers in a certain industry, according to the questions, is Rs.200.

Technicians earn an average of Rs.400 per month, whereas non-technicians get Rs.125.

Total salary (t1)/ total no of technicians(n1) = 400.

Total salary (t2)/ total no of non-technicians(n2) = 125.

or,(t1 + t2) / (n1 + n2) = 200.

or, ( 400 n1 + 125 n2 ) / (n1 + n2) = 200.

or, 400 n1 + 125 n2 = 200 n1 + 200 n2.

or, 200 n1 = 75 n2.

or,n1 = (3/8) n2.

i.e. 3:8

3 = twice (200 - 125) = 150.

11 = ?

1 = 150/3 = 50.

or, 11 = 11 \times  50 = 550. [Ans]

Therefore, total no of workers = 550.
