Radius of circle is R , and t is the time taken for completion of 1 full revolution

To find:

Average speed and Average Velocity of object

Concept:

Average speed is defined as the ratio of distance and the time taken to cover that distance

Average velocity is defined as the ratio of total displacement and the time taken to cover that displacement.

Calculation:

Distance of that object is :

d = 2 \times \pi \times R

So , average speed will be :

s \: avg. =  \dfrac{2\pi R}{t}

Now , displacement is zero because starting and stopping point is same

Hence , average Velocity will be :

v \: avg. =  \dfrac{0}{t}  = 0

So final answer is :

Average speed is 2πR/t and average Velocity is zero.
