The average speed of a particle after completion of one revolution is zero but average velocity is not zero. Is this statement correct or incorrect? Why?

ok, see for example, a car rotating around a house, after 1 complete rotation the net displacement will be 0 which means average speed will also be 0. But its velocity is not 0 as which rotating the direction keeps on changing(velocity is a vector quantity).the statement is correct.
