Temperature on 1st day = 56°  & Temperature on 5th  day  = 88°

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Temperature on   1st  Day  = 7A°   and 5th Day  = 11A°

temperature on 2nd , 3rd & 4th Day = B° , C° , D° respectively

the average temperature of a town in the first four days of a month was 58°

=> (7A  + B + C + D) /4 = 58

=> 7A + B + C  + D = 232

=> B + C + D = 232 - 7A

the average for 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th day was 66°

=> (B + C + D + 11A)/4 = 66

=> B + C + D + 11A = 264

=> B + C + D = 264 - 11A

Equating

232 - 7A =  264 - 11A

=> 4A = 32

=> A = 8

Temperature on 1st day = 7A = 7*8 = 56°

Temperature on 5th  day = 11A = 11*8 = 88°
