a+b+c/3= 36
a+b+c= 36 * 3
a+b+c= 108----------(1)
And,
a+b/2=48
a+b=48 * 2
a+b= 96------------(2)
Subtract eq 2 from 1, we get
a+b+c-a-b= 108-96
c=12
The third number is 12
