answer:

here acceleration of the body is equal.

hey friends,

we know that Average velocity

◆we know that Average velocity  = {displacement }/time interval

here , displacement (s) = ut + 1/2 at^2 ---(1)  =) time (t) = t

 ◆average velocity = S/t

here , displacement (s) = ut + 1/2 at^2 ---(1)  =) time (t) = t

◆average velocity = S/t  = (ut + 1/2 at^2)/t

= u + 1/2 at ---------(2)

and we can also deduse this into another equation,  =)

we know that , V = u + at

 and we can also deduse this into another equation,  =) we know that , V = u + at  =) at = v - u -----------(3)

put value of " at" in eqn (2)  ◆ average velocity = u + 1/2 at  = u + 1/2 (v - u )  =) taking LCM  =( 2u + v -u )/2  =( v + u )/2

◆average velocity = (v + u )/ 2

This is most common formula for finding average velocity , but remember that , This formula is valid only if acceleration is constant otherwise this formula is not valid .

hope it will help u ^_^
