Answer :-

Given :-

  • Initial velocity, u = 0 ( because body is under free fall motion )
  • Average velocity, v = 7 m/s
  • Acceleration due to gravity, g = 9.8 m/s²

To find :-

  • Height - h

Solution :-

  • u = 0 m/s
  • v = 7 m/s
  • g = 9.8 m/s²

Substituting the value in 3rd equation of motion :-

⟹ v² = u² + 2as

⟹ 7² = 0 + 2 × 9.8 × h

⟹ 49 = 19.6h

⟹ h = 49/19.6

⟹ h = 2.5 m

Height through which it was realised is 2.5 m.

Given :-

  • Final Velocity/Average Velocity (v) = 7 m/s
  • Initial Velocity (u) = 0 m/s
  • Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 10 N (approx 9.8)

To Find :-

  • Height (h)

So, here v, u , g & h is given

So, we will solve using the most accurate formula of Motion

Formula Used :-

  • v² - u² = 2gh

Subsituting Values

→ (7)² - (0)² = 2 × 10 × h

→ 49 - 0 = 20 h

→ 49 = 20 h

→ 20 h = 49

→ h = 49/290

→ h = 2.45

So, the height is 2.45 m
