average of 16 boys = 50.25that is sum of weight of 16 boys / 16 = 50.25 kgstherefore sum of weight of 16 boys = 50.25 x 16                                                   = 804 kgssimilarly weight of remaining 8 boys = 45.15 x 8                                                     =361.2 kgstherefore total weight = 804 + 361.2 = 1165.2 kgs  then average weight of total students = 1165.2/ 24 =48.55 kgs
