Step-by-step explanation:

Total boys = 22+12

Average weight = 62.26+70.08

Total average weight =

 \frac{62.26 + 70.08}{22 + 12}

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that The average weight of 22 boys in a class is 62.26 kg

Average = \frac{\text{Sum of weights of 22 boys }}{\text{No. of boys}}

62.26 = \frac{\text{Sum of weights of 22 boys }}{22}

62.26 \times 22 = \text{Sum of weights of 22 boys }

[tex]1369.72 = \text{Sum of weights of 22 boys }[/tex]

Now we are given that the  average of remaining 12 boys is 70.08 kg.

Average = \frac{\text{Sum of weights of 12 boys }}{\text{No. of boys}}

70.08 = \frac{\text{Sum of weights of 12 boys }}{12}

70.08 \times 12 =\text{Sum of weights of 12 boys }

840.96=\text{Sum of weights of 12 boys }

Total no. of boys = 12+22=34

Total sum of weight of 34 boys = 840.96+1369.72=2210.68

Average = \frac{\text{Sum of weights of 32 boys }}{\text{No. of boys}}

Average = \frac{2210.68}{32}

Average =69.08375

Hence he average weights of all the boys  in the class. is 69.08375
