Average weight = 16 Kg

Number of persons = 25

We know that, Average = Sum of observations/Number of observations

Average = 16 Kg

Sum of weights of all persons/Number of persons = 16

Sum of weights of all persons/25 = 16

Sum of weights of all persons = 16 * 25

Sum of weights of all persons = 400

Let the weight of new person who is included be x

New average after the new person is included = Actual average increased by 2 kg

= 16 + 2

= 18

New average = 18 Kg

Number of persons = 25 + 1 = 26

New average = 18

Sum of weights of all persons including new person/Number of persons = 18

(400 + x)/26 = 18

400 + x = 18 * 26

400 + x = 468

x = 468 - 400

x = 68

Therefore the weight of new person is 68 Kg.
