\textbf{Given:}

\text{Average weight of 45 passengers is 52 kg}

\textbf{Solution:}

\text{when 5 of them leave and 5 new passengers join the bus,}

\textbf{New total weight of 45 passengers}

=\textbf{Total weight of 45 assengers}-\textbf{Total weight of 5 passengers leave}+\textbf{Total weight of 5 passengers join}

=(45{\times}52)-(5{\times}48)+(5{\times}54)

=2340-240+270

=2340+30

=2370

\textbf{New average}

=\dfrac{\text{Total weight of 45 passengers}}{45}

=\dfrac{2370}{45}

=52.66\;\text{kgs}

\therefore\textbf{New average weight of the bus is 52.66 kgs}

\implies\textbf{Option(c) is correct}
