no. of balls = 47

average weight of balls = 4 gm

weight of the ball if kept in the bag = 0.3 gm

therefore, the weight of the bag = 4 gm X 0.3 gm = 1.2 gm

                                                      = 47 balls X 1.2 gm = 56.4 gm

therefore 56.4 gm is the weight of the bag

Answer:

The correct answer of this question is  18.1 grams.

Explanation:

Given - The average weight of 47 balls is 4 gm. if the weight of the bag is included, the calculated average weight per ball increases by 0.3 gm.

To find - what is the weight of the bag.

The average weight of 47 balls is 4 grams.

Added the average weight of each ball increased by 0.3 grams.

The weight of the ball has grown by 47 pounds is 47 ×0.3 = 14.1g

Total weight of the bag = Average weight + Increased weight

Total weight of the bag = 4 + 14.1 g

Total weight of the bag = 18.1 grams.
