Average weight (A) of four fishes = 220g

As we know , that formula for Average is →

Sum of observations(S) / Number of observations(N)

or, A = S/N

So, here if Average weight of 4 fishes is 220 g , So total weight of fishes will be =

No of fishes × Average = 220×4 = 880g

The fish weighing 310g jumps back in river ,So weight of remaining fishes

= 880-310
= 570g

Weight of remaining three fishes = 570 g

Average = weight of fishes / Number of fishes

or , A = 570/3

or, A = 190g

Answers→ Average weight of remaining three fishes is 190g
