B. The narrator's grandmother life in the village she accompany with him to the school because the school was attached with temple and she is very punctual to her devotion to god. But in the city she don't like her grandson's music, english.

C. During his childhood the author studied in the village school which is attached to the temple.

D. The grandmother always accompany the author to the school as she had deep love and affection for her grandson. Another reason is that the school was attached to the temple so she sat inside the temple reading scriptures when the author studied there and they came back together when school was over.

E. Grandmother carried several stale chappatis with her everyday to give to village dogs. Dogs knew all this and follows her for chappatis , when grandmother and narrator , when they return to school after school hours.

F. The author's grandmother did not feel sentimental when the author went abroad for his higher education. Because she was not even sentimental. She did not talk or show any emotion at the time of his departure. Her lips moved in prayer, her mind was lost in prayer.

G. The happiest moment of the day for the grandmother in the city was to feed the sparrows. While feeding, the sparrows used to sit on her legs and on her shoulder. Some sat even on her head.
