Step-by-step explanation:

Hola !

Change in bacteria can be calculated by the present method,

7/100×12170

=851.9

If we add this value to count we can came to know the total count.

12170+851.9

=13021.9

let the initial bacteria =a

1st hour---

total bacteria=108a/100=1.08a

2nd hour--

total bacteria = 92x(1.08a)/100=0.92x1.08a

3rd hour--

total bacteria= (107/100)x 0.92x1.08a

which equals 12170

so,    1.07x0.92x1.08a=12170

 a=11417.093
