Bangles are deeply rooted in Indian tradition as certainly they describe the different stages of a woman's life.

The blue and silver mist coloured or the shades of pink of yet to blossom flowers or the clear drops of new born leaves are the colours of bangles that suits a young maiden who is free to dream about her future and is like a bud who is yet to bloom into a flower. According to the poet the bangles that are suitable for a bride are golden coloured like the holy fire around which the bride takes marriage vows with her groom. The bangles also have a colour of "her heart desire" which is suggestive of dreams and hopes of a newly wedded bride. The poet says that the purple and gold flecked bangles are fit for an experienced woman's wrist as those colours signify pride and experience.
