gain means interest i.e S.I
time (t)= 2 years
rate of interest (r%) = 10% p.a
S.I = Rs. 24
Principal (P) = ?
Amount ( A) = P+S.I
P = (S.I×100)/t×r
⇒ P = 2400/20
⇒ P = Rs. 1200 Ans.
Hence, the Principal is Rs.1200
Amount (A)= P+S.I
A = Rs. 1224 Ans.
I hope the answer is correct.
