The base and corresponding altitude of a parallelogram is 21cm and 15 cm. If the other altitude is 9cm, find the length of the other parallel sides

Given :-

AB = CD = 21 cm

AE = 15 cm

Now,

Area of ||gm = Base × Altitude (Height)

=> CD × AE

=> (21 × 15) cm²

Now,

Also,

CF = 9 cm

Area of ||gm = (21 × 15) cm²

Area of ||gm = Base × Altitude (Height)

(21 × 15) cm² = AD × CF

21 × 15 = AD × 9

AD = 35 cm

Hence, the measure of other parallel side is 35 cm.
