\underline{\underline {\sf{\maltese \: \: To \: Find}}}:

  • Find the height and base of the parallelogram.

\underline{\underline {\sf{\maltese \: \: Given}}}:

  • The bar and height of the parallelogram are in the ratio of 4 : 3.

  • The area of parallelogram is 192cm².

\underline{\underline {\sf{\maltese \: \: Solution}}}:

As we know that:

Area of parallelogram = base × height

Putting Values:-

Let the height be " 3x "

Then the base be " 4x "

\tt\implies \:  192 = 4x \times 3x

\tt\implies \:  192  = {12x}^{2}

\tt\implies \:  {x}^{2}  =   \cancel\dfrac{192}{12}

\tt\implies \: x =    \sqrt{16}

\tt\implies \: x = 4

Hence,

  • \tt \: Base \: \: is \: \: 4x = 4 ( 4 ) = 16
  • \tt \: Height \: \: is \: \: 3x = 4 ( 3 ) = 12
