Let the base and height of the triangle be 2x and 3x respectively.

We know that area of a triangle= 1/2×b×h
108 = 1/2 × 2x × 3x
108 = 3x²
x² = 36
x = ±6
since base and height can’t be -ve, x=6
.: base = 2x = 2(6) = 12 cm
height = 3x = 3(6) = 18 cm
