let base and height be 3x and 4x

1/2 *3x*4x =96

or, 6x^2 = 96

or,x^2 =16

or, x= 4

base= 3×4cm=12cm

height=4×4cm=16 cm

Answer:

Base = 12 cm

hight = 16 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimension of a triangle

base = b

height = h

ratio of base and hight = 3:4

let base = 3x

height = 4x

area of a triangle A = b h/2

area = 96cm^2

3x × 4x/2 = 96

6x^2=96

x^2 = 96/16

x^2= 16

x=√(16

=4

base = 3x= 3×4 =12 cm

height = 4x= 4×4 = 16 cm
