Answer:

base = 24unit

height = 33unit

area of the triangle = 1/2 × b × h

= 1/2 × 24 × 33

= 12 × 33

= 396unit²

Answer:

base =24

height=33

Step-by-step explanation:

let base and height of triangle is x and y respectively.

so.

x:y=8:11

x/y=8/11

11x=8y x=8y/11_______(1)

we know that.

area of triangle is =1/2×b×h

396=1/2×8y/11×y

396=4y^2/11

y^2=396×11/4

y^2=99×11

y=√1089

y= 33 this is height of triangle.

put the value of y in equation (1).

x=8×33/11

x=24.
