let the base and the height of the triangle be 4x and 7x we know that area of triangle is half into b into h

therefore 171.5=1÷2× 7x × 4x

171.5÷14=x2

12.5=x2

root of 12.5=x

therefore X is equals to 3.5

hence base is 4 into 3.5 that is 14 centimetre and height is 7 into 3.5 that is 24.5 centimetre
