The base and height of a triangle is 9 and 5 respectively. The base and height of another triangle is 10 and 6 respectively. Find the ratio of the area of the first triangle to the area of the other son

  • 2 nd triangle base is 10 and h=6

Area of 1st triangle =1÷2 (9*5) =45÷2

2nd triangle area =6 *10 ÷2=60÷2

now taking ratio we get Ratio=45÷60 as in ratio the in denominator will be cancelled

so 45:60 = 3:4

Answer =3:4
