b/h = 5/3
b = 5h/3
area = 1/2*5h/3*h = 43.2
h2 = 43.2*6/5
h = 7.2 m
b = 5*7.2/3
= 12m

Dear Student,

● Answer -

Base = 12 m

Height = 7.2 m

◆ Explanation -

Let x be a common multiple such that -

Base = 5x

Height = 3x

We have area of triangle as 43.2 sq.m.

Area = 1/2 × base × height

43.2 = 1/2 × 5x × 3x

43.2 = 15/2 × x²

x² = 43.2 / 7.5

x² = 5.76

Taking square root,

x = 2.4 m

So now,

Base = 5x = 5×2.4 = 12 m

Height = 3x = 3×2.4 = 7.2 m

Hope that clears ur doubts...
