Given :-

  • The Base and height of a triangular field are in the ratio of 3 : 4 and it's area is 1014 cm square

To find :-

  • Base and height of triangular field

Solution :-

  • Base and height of triangular field are in ratio = 3 : 4

  • Area of triangular field = 1014cm²

Let the base 3x then height be 4x

Now,

Area of triangular field = ½ × base × height

→ 1014 = ½ × 3x × 4x

→ 1014 = 3x × 2x

→ 1014 = 6x²

→ x² = 1014/6

→ x² = 169

→ x = √169

→ x = ± 13cm

  • Base and height never in negative

→ x = 13 cm

Hence,

  • Base of triangular field = 3x = 39cm

  • Height of triangle field = 4x = 52cm
