Given :

The base and height of parallelogram are 3:2 if the area of parallelogram is 54m².

To find :

  • Base and height of Parallelogram.

Solution :

Base and height of parallelogram are 3:2

Let the base of parallelogram be 3x and its height be 2x .

According to the formula of area of parallelogram.

→ Base × height = 54 m²

→ 3x*2x = 54

→ 6x² = 54

→ x² = 54/6

→ x² = 9

→ x = √9

→ x = ± 3

Focus Zone : Length never be in negative.

•°• Base of parallelogram = 3x = 9 m

•°• Height of parallelogram = 2x = 6m

Step-by-step explanation:

base: height=3:2

let base and height be 3x,2x respectively

area of parallelogram=base×height

54=3x×2x

54=6x²

x²=54/6

x²=9

x=3m

base=3×3=9m

height=2×3=6m
