So,

3 x square = 108
X square = 108 /3
X square = 36
X = 36 under root
X = 6
So,
Base = 3 * 6 = 18 cm
And, height = 2 * 6 = 12 cm

6x^2/2=108
x^2=108×2/6
x^2=36
x=√36
=6

so, base =3×6=18cm
