Let the base and height be 3x and 2x respectively.

1/2(3x)(2x) = 108

3x² = 108
X² = 36
X = 6

Base = 3(6) = 18 cm

And height = 2(6) = 12 cm

We are given , base:height = 3:2

Let base = 3k and and height = 2k

We are given, 1/2*base*height = 108
                     = 1/2*(3k)*(2k) = 108
                        so, 3k² = 108
                                k² = 36
                            So, k =6

hence, base = 3k = 3*6 = 18 cm
and, height = 2k = 2*6 = 12 cm
