✪Answer :

Let ABC is a right angled triangle at B

Base=BC=6cm

Hypotenuse AC=10cm

☛ Using Pythagoras theorem,

AC² = AB² + BC²

AB² = AC² - BC²

= 10² - 6²

=100−36

AB = √ 64 = 8 cm

Altitude= AB= 8 cm

☛ Now , Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 6 × 8

= 24 cm ².
