The base and the corresponding altitude of a parallelogram are 35cm and 42cm respectively. lf the other altitude is 30cm, find the length of the other pair of parallel sides. Draw, solve .

here area of the parallellogram = base*height
let the other pair is side be x
=> 35 * 42 => 30 * x
=> x = 1470 / 30 => x = 49

X=256......!
