The base and the corresponding altitude of a parallelogram are 10 cm and 12 cm, respectively. If the other altitude is 8 cm, find its corresponding base.

if we rotate the parallelogram

area will be equal

area'1=area'2=10×12=120

so corresponding base=area/height

=120/8=15cm
