Let the Base and Height be 4a and 5a respectively
Area = 40 m^2
=> Base ×Height /2 = 40
=> 4a ×5a = 80
=> 20a^2 = 80
=> a^2 = 4
=> a = 2
Base = 4× 2 = 8 m
Height = 5×2 = 10 m
Area = 40 m^2
=> Base ×Height /2 = 40
=> 4a ×5a = 80
=> 20a^2 = 80
=> a^2 = 4
=> a = 2
Base = 4× 2 = 8 m
Height = 5×2 = 10 m

Let the ratio be in x
Therefore, Base =4x
Height =5x
As we know,
Area of triangle =1/2×b×h
Now, 1/2×b×h =40m2
1/2 × 5x × 4x = 40m2
1/2 × 20x^2 = 40m2
10x ^2= 40m2
x^2 =40/10=4
x=2
Therefore, Base =4×2 =8 m
Height =5×2=10m
