The base angle of an isosceles triangle is 10 more than twice the vertex angle. Find the value of equal angles.​

Let's name the vertex angle “v"

Each base angle, b= 2v+10

Sum of all three angles is 180

2(2v+10) + v =180

4v + 20 +,v = 180

5v = 160. V= 32° ←vertex angle

Each base angle, b= 10°+2•32

Base angles are each 10+64= 74°

Check that sum = 180

32 + 74 + 74 = 32 + 148 = 180✔️
