in isosceles triangle the base angles are equal

let top angle be x

y= x+24

sum of angles in a triangle= 180

x+y+y=180

x+2y=180

x+2(x+24)=180

x+2x+48=180

3x= 180-48

3x= 132

x=132/3

x= 44

therefore top angle=44°

base angles=44+24=68°
