Hey there!!

Let r , and h be the radius and hight of the cylinder respectively
Give that -

r = 8
h = 17

Then, CSA = 2×22/7× 8×17

= 854.73 Cm^2 Approx

TSA = 2πr( h +r)

= 2×22/7×8(17+8)

= 1257.14 Cm^2

Hope this helps u!!

Answer ⤵️

Here,

Diameter of a cone= 16

Radii of a cone= 16/2=8 m

i) C.S.A= πrl

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 8 \times 17 \\  =  \frac{2992}{7}  \\  = 427.42 \:  {cm}^{2}

ii) T.S.A = πr(l+r)

\pi \: r(l + r) \\   = \frac{22}{7}  \times 8(17 + 8) \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 8 \times 25 \\  =  \frac{4400}{7}  \\  = 628.57 \:  {cm}^{2}

So,

i) C.S.A= 427.42 cm²

ii) T.S.A= 628.57 cm²
