The base of a box has a parameter 20m and its height is 8m. if the height is 3m more than one of it base sides, find its surface area.​

height of cuboid is 8m

one base side 3 less than height

let us consider breadth of cuboid is 3 less than height

breadth of cuboid = 8-3=5m

base of cuboid is rectangle

perimeter of rectangle is 20m

p of rectangle = 2(l+b)

20=2(l+5)

20=2l+10

20-10=2l

10=2l

10/2=l

5=l

length of cuboid is 5 m

tsa of cuboid = 2× (lb+bh+hl)

2((5×5)(5×8)(8×5))

2(25+40+40)

2(105)

210 m^2

TSA of box is 210 m^2
