Given :-

  • The base of a parallelogram is 12 cm and its height is 18 cm.

To find :-

  • Area of parallelogram

Solution :-

  • Base of parallelogram = 12 cm

  • Height of parallelogram = 18 cm

As we know that

Area of parallelogram = b × h

Where " b " is base and " h " is height of parallelogram.

  • According to the question

→ Area of parallelogram

→ b × h

  • Put the values

→ 12 × 8

→ 216 cm²

Hence,

  • Area of parallelogram is 216 cm²

More to know :-

  • Area of circle = πr²

  • Circumference of circle = 2πr

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

  • Perimeter of square = 4 × side

  • Area of square = side × side

  • Area of rhombus = ½ × product of diagonals
