Given:

  • The base of a parallelogram is twice it's parallelogram is 512 cm².

To find out:

Find the base and the height?

Formula used:

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Solution:

Let the height be x.

Then, Base of a parallelogram = 2x

✪According to question:-

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

→ 512 cm² = 2x × x

→ 512 = 2x²

→ x² = 512/2

→ x² = 256

→ x = 16 cm

Now,

⋆ Base,b = 2x = 2 × 16 = 32 cm

⋆ Height, h = x = 16 cm

A.T.Q

Area of parallelogram = base × height

512cm² = 2x × x

512 = 2x²

x² = 512/2

x² = 256

x = 16

Base, b = 2x = 2 × 16 = 32cm

Height, h = x = 16cm.
