Answer:

Since area of a parallelogram is base×height

base =2×height

b×h=area

2×height×height=242

height×height=242÷2

height=square root of 121

therefore height=11

and base= 2× height=2×11=22

Answer:

 = h \times b = 242 \\  = x \times 2x = 242 \\  = 2 {x}^{2}  = 242 \\  =  {x}^{2}  = 242 \div 2 \\  =  {x }^{2}  = 121 \\  = x =  \sqrt{121 }  \\  = x = 11 \\  \\ height  = x = 11 \\ base = 2x = 2 \times 11 = 22

is your answer
