The base of a parallelogram is twice its height. If the area of the parrallelogram is 512 cm,find the base and height

and,
area of parallelogram = bh
512 =b×h
512 = 2h×h
512 = 2h²
256 =h²
16 cm = h
therefore,
b = 2h
b = 2×16
b = 32 cm

let base of parralogram be x and height be 2x now according to question x×2x=512 2xxsq=512. xsq=512÷2=256. xsq=16. so base is 16 and height is 32
