Answer :-

  • The height of parallelogram = 7.48cm.
  • The base of parallelogram = 14.96cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

To Find :-

  • The base of parallelogram
  • The height of parallelogram

Solution:

Given that,

  • The area of parallelogram = 112cm²

As we know that,

Area of parallelogram = b × h,

Where,

  • b = Base
  • h = Height

Assumption: Let us assume the height of parallelogram as x and the base of parallelogram as 2x,

Therefore,

  • 2x*x = 112cm²

=> 2x*x = 112

=> (2x)(x) = 112

=> 2x² = 112

=> x² = 112/2

=> x² = 56

=> x = √56

=> x = 7.48

The value of x is 7.48, Now the base and height of parallelogram,

  • Height of parallelogram

We assumed the height of parallelogram as x,

=> x

=> 7.48 cm

  • Base of parallelogram

We assumed the base of parallelogram as 2x,

=> 2x

=> 2*7.48

=> 14.96 cm
