Answer:

let the height of parallelogram be = x

and the base of parallelogram= 2x

a/q,

the area of parallelogram= base× height

512 = x × 2x

512 = 2x^

512/2 = x^

256 = x^

x =256

x = 16 cm

Hence, base = 16 ×2 =32cm and height = 16cm

Answer:

Given,

Base of Parallelogram is twice its height. i.e

Let,

Height of the parallelogram be 'x'.

Base of the parallelogram will be '2x'.

Area of the Parallelogran = 512cm²

To Find :-

Base and Height of the Parallelogram.

Solution :-

Area of the Parallelogram = Base × Height

512cm² = 2x × x

512cm² = 2x²

x² = \sf\frac{512cm²}{2}

x² = 256cm²

x = √256cm²

x = 16cm

\sf\therefore Height of the Parallelogram = x = 16cm

Base of the Parallelogram = 2x = 2*16cm = 32cm.
