Let the height be H
so base will be 2H
Area = 512cm²
Area of parallelogram =B*H
512cm²=2H*H
512cm²=2H²
256=H²
16cm=H=height
Base=2H=32cm

The height of parallelogram is "16 cm" and base is "32 cm".

Step-by-step explanation:

Let \ the \ height \ of \ a \ parallelogram \ be \ "x".\\And,the \ base \ of \ parallelogram \ be \ "2x".\\Area=512 \ cm^2\\\\As \ we \ know,\\\\The \ Area \ of \ parallelogram,\\A=base\times height\\\\On \ putting \ the \ values \ in \ the \ above \ formula,we \ get\\\\512=2x\times x\\\\512=2x^2\\\\x^2=\frac{512}{2}\\ \\x^2=256\\\\x=\sqrt{256}\\ \\x=16 \ cm\\\\Now,\\Height=16 \ cm\\Base=2\times 16=32 \ cm
