The base of a parellelogram is thrice it’s height. If the area of the parellelogram is 972 sq.cm , find the base and height of the parellelogram

so, base= 3x

Area of parallelogram=1/2*base*height

972=1/2*3x*x

=972=1/2*3x^2

=972*2=3x^2

=1944=3x^2

1944/3=x^2

648=x^2

√648=x

25.45=x

so,height=25.45cm

base=3*25.45

=76.36cm
